Christmas time is here!

Christmas has finally arrived at TAMIU! The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony took place on December 1, 2009. Things were a little different this year than opposed to last year. Mother Nature decided to keep things cold and rainy which is why this year's tree lighting event took place at the Great Room located on the third floor at the TAMIU Killam Library.

They can be seen on the green almost every Tuesday and Thursday. Sometimes they are walking around campus; sometimes they are crawling on the ground or running around in the monte. Though they are in camouflage uniforms, they are hard to miss.

For a whole semester, students have been working hard to graduate from TAMIU in 2009, and on Saturday, December 12, all their hard work paid off. Nearly 700 students received their diploma in two Commencement Exercises, one held Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
