On Monday, December 7th, TAMIU presented the annual Communications Students' Video Screening to a packed house showcasing students' vision on film to the community, family and friends. "Oh boy" did we witness the beginning of the future of film. The students' artistic visions where all over the place ranging from the very dramatic like Agustin Gamez's short film Remnants to Mayra Garza's musicals Soundtrack. There was something literality for everybody. There where the dark and eerie short films like Leopoldo Arispe's short film Rio but then again there were also the simply just cute like Melissa Santillana & Lizett Montiel's short film Sliverlining. There were films that made you laugh (P.M.S…Really?) and others that made you wonder why you were laughing (Kung Fu).

The truth is, not everyone got to see all the hard work these filmmakers endured on screen because to be honest, showing film is a lot more difficult than to hang an art piece. So here at the Bridge we decided to showcase their work for all those who missed it. Enjoy!
